The world is full of pre’s: pre-season, pre-game, pre-release, presume, prepared. All of these imply a “before-hand” sense. The Boy Scouts have a motto, “Always be prepared.” And the implication is to have what you need to be ready for anything. In like manner, Christians are to have this attitude as well. But
we take being Nehemiah did this. When he found out that the walls of Jerusalem were destroyed, he spent time in prayer, asking the Lord to give him favor with the king. Then as cupbearer, he went before the king. The king asked about his sad face and the verse says, “......so I prayed to the God of heaven.” Nehemiah prayed BEFORE he spoke. Oh, my dear friends, if only we would pray every time before we speak. Daniel was pre-prayered as well. When he was asked to interpret the
king’s dreams, Daniel went to his friends and asked them to pray about the
matter also. (Daniel 2:18) And God answered and gave him a vision in the
night. ALWAYS be Pre-Prayered!!! Here's a sample of the "always be Pre-Prayered" Post-It notes (3" x 4" pad, 25 sheets) Use as GIFTS or for your personal daily encouragement.
