The Image - A Pattern by Linda A Spencer Yes, the sin of others brought dark colors in my life. And then I sought in my sinfulness--my breaking of the law of God--my own ways to make my life work. But He has made the dark colors to weave in with the bright colors, to make me in the image of His Son. As you can see there is a crown in the center of this weaving. That represents Christ the King in whose image the Father is making me. As long as I live I'll be continually realizing the extent of that great love He has shown through Jesus Christ. How about you? How have your dark colors shaped your life? Are there broken threads hanging from your own attempts at working it all out. Are the threads of your life all in a tangled mess? Have you met the One who accepts you unconditionally? Will you allow the Master Weaver to put the weaving of your life in order? Will you admit to Him that you have tried to work it out your own way and that You need His tender mercy and His favor in your life. Jesus calls to you, "I stand at the door and knock; If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him." He will do that for you. He is calling you. Will you receive His calling and follow Him?
