Purpose statement in our By-Laws

The purpose of Nehemiah Ministries, Inc. is to encourage and exhort all persons in the Body of Christ that there is a kingdom unseen in which each one is specially loved and specially called by God the King. This is accomplished by doing as Nehemiah did, as reflected in the Holy Bible, by seeking to build up and strengthen the Body of Christ through songs, worship and song leading, preaching, teaching, publications, recordings, video tapes, verbal addresses and other media. Through these mediums, Nehemiah Ministries, Inc. will encourage and exhort all persons to join God in carrying out His sovereign will of creating a new kingdom of heaven and earth in Christ Jesus, His Son.

Three aspects

To encourage others in the Body of Christ that there is a Kingdom unseen in which each is specially loved and specially called by God the king. To do as Nehemiah did in the Bible and seek to build up the Body of Christ through the medium of music, sharing with songs, publications, recordings, videos, and verbal address, counsel, and other media.

To encourage each member of the Body to actively participate in the reality of this Kingdom and all that God wants it to be; that is, a Kingdom of righteousness growing in freedom from sin both individually and corporately; a Kingdom of justice, growing in freedom from oppression for the poor; a Kingdom of love and wholeness for all; a Kingdom of celebration, growing in celebrating the coming wedding of the Bride with her Groom--the Christ.

To encourage those in the world that they can be part of the LIVING movement of His Kingdom and leave the empty, dead kingdom of this world/earth.

Summary: Nehemiah Ministries purposes to encourage and exhort others to join God in carrying out His dream of His new Kingdom of heaven and earth created in Christ Jesus.
